Sales Center Lets Agents Control Their Own Work

One of TravCom CS's most important features is its interface with your CRS. By interfacing with your CRS, you avoid having to re-key sales data from your front office. When the data is interfaced from the CRS, though, wouldn't it be nice to let the agents who booked the sales review the data for accuracy before it is posted? ClientMajic lets them do just this.

The ClientMajic Sales Center lets each agent review just the sales that she herself booked. Here is a view one agent might have.

The Sales Center main window showing 10 invoices for the agent, all 10 of which are not yet marked for posting. The agent has options to Edit the invoices, print an Edit List or print a verification list.

Notice a couple things. First, the invoices are not yet "marked for posting." The agent reviews the sales for accuracy and marks them when she confirms that they are correct. Second, notice that the "Post Invoices" function is not available. That is your choice. You can choose to let agents post their sales once they have reviewed them or you can reserve posting for your back-office person. When whoever has permission to post sales does so, only the sales marked for posting will be added to your TravCom CS data.

Here we see the agent's view of an invoice in the Sales Center.

The Edit Invoice window showing details for an air sale, two car rentals and a service charge.

The agent can review and edit each component of the sale, just as the back-office TravCom CS operator can do with the TravCom CS interface edit function. The only difference is that the agent can only review and edit her sales. When she confirms that the sale is correct, she simply checks the "Marked for Posting" box in the upper right-hand corner.
